En el exterior se puede encontrar una amplia zona verde y barbacoa.
Otro atractivo son los animales de granja: conejos, gallinas y ovejas.
En cuanto a las actividades, la zona es ideal para hacer excursiones y paseos, tanto a pie como en bicicleta (el bicicarril Olot-Girona está muy cerca de la casa), visitar las numerosas fuentes que hay en el municipio, los volcanes, castillos, hayedos y también el Santuario de la Salud, situado a 1.050 m. de altura desde donde se contempla una magnífica panorámica del valle de Hostoles, llegando la vista hasta los Pirineos y la Costa Brava.
